CIPD ABSENCE MANAGEMENT REPORT 2011
The twelfth edition of CIPD’s Absence Management survey report in partnership with Simplyhealth. As in previous years, CIPD provide useful benchmarking data for organisations on absence levels and the cost and causes of absence, as well as a focus on employee well-being. In addition, the report covers topical questions asked about the abolition of the Default Retirement Age and levels of turnover due to ill health, and CIPD continue to track the effect of the economic climate on employee absence.
CIPD REPORT shaping the future
The core research has been conducted with six case study organisations from the public and private sectors: BIG Lottery Fund, Birmingham City Council, NHS Dumfries and Galloway, Pfizer (Grange Castle), Standard Chartered and Xerox. These organisations are implementing specific change programmes to drive long-term performance
